Membership

             It is time to sign up for next year’s membership. The application is enclosed in this newsletter.

 

Nominating Committee:

             The committee is:  Frank Turso – phone 286-3376, John Barnett – phone 286-8109, and Mike Carey – phone 516-263-7959.  Absentee ballots must be submitted in a sealed envelope with your name on the front of the envelope and submitted prior to the meeting to one of the nominating committee. 

 

Halloween Parade:

             Mark your calendars for the parade which will be held on October 22nd at 1 PM.  The rain date is October 23rd at 1 PM.

 

Advertising Guide:

             See the attached to join in our Advertising Guide.  If any questions, please contact Debe Galligan at 286-3229, or to one of the Board Officers.

 

Christmas Party:

             This year’s Party will be held at the VFW hall on December 4th at 1 PM.  Raffle tickets will be sold for the 50/50.  If someone stops at your home, please support the event.  We hope to have a big prize winner.

 

Thanks & Congratulations:

             Cheryl Clifford for the door prizes.  Don Teague won the  50/50, and the door prize was won by Nancy Schaefer.  Thank you to Lori Antonakakis for the refreshments.

 

Next meeting:

             Will be October 13th.  Hope to see you in attendance.  Meeting starts at 7:45 PM.   Try and bring a neighbor.

Take Two!   Unfortunately, PSEG had a last minute commitment and could not attend our last meeting.  We have been told they will be at the October meeting to answer questions about the Smart Electrical Meters installation, and how it could impact you.
